FIBRE REINFORCED POLYESTER ON STEEL BASE

With the sculpture Reeds and Seeds sculptor Hans Mes created a poetical moving composition of reed leaves and seed sprouts. The forms are placed on a steel base and are moved by the wind. As a designed gift to one of the major customers of DSM Jinling the artist used FRP pipes for the leaves and container forms for the seeds to refer to the products sold by this appreciated customer. Growth is important to both DSM Jinling as well as its customers. This eye catching piece of art expresses that the secrets of change needed to grow are already programmed in the seeds. The profound knowledge of the seed will learn the view on the future plant. But this will often be felt as the whispering of a secret that seems unpredictable to others. The same goes for industry. The better knowledge is found at the very beginning, the more will be known about the outcome of an enterprise when starting a new plant.
