Catena is the Latin word for chain. This sculpture was ordered by a pharmaceutical company that sells stoma bags. The bronze chain represents the company offering a quality solution to reconnect the broken chain of digestion. The top stone form has the form of a stoma bad with the characteristic opening. People from the neighbourhood were interviewed and thought this was an abstract sculpture. But the employees understand the meaning of this artwork in relation to their activities.
