This sculpture accentuates the type of study taught in this university institute: Communication. Communication studies in Holland are called Gamma studies. That is why Hans Mes took two people sitting at a table formed by the building and connected them by the mathematical / Greek Gamma character. By positioning them each at a side of the rectangular building block the human figures seem to be in a conversation. At night the sculpture is lighted so at all times this artwork is visible from a large distance against the sky.
