This is a detail of the hand painted decoration of the scroll with flames that symbolize the regeneration of energy. The poem was translated from English into classic Chinese poetry and then calligraphed in running script. This poem then was cut in steel and welded onto the sculpture. Also visible is a part of the Oschatz products cut out of the scroll. Both show the precise skills of steel cutting by the sculptor.
