On March 20th a big celebration was held at Oschatz Energy & Environment in Essen, Germany. That day the sculpture “In der Welt zu Hause” by sculptor Hans Mes was presented by the employees to the occasion of the 60th birthday of their President Dr. H.J. Schrag and the 160th anniversary of Oschatz. Today Oschatz has grown into perfect performance as a leading expert company in the global market. Therefore the sculpture shows the portrait of Dr. Schrag as a man who invested his insight and leadership to make this happen. He looks at the world market where Oschatz operates with excellent craftsmanship and expertise as a worldwide family of professionally skilled employees. The Oschatz logo connects the employees to the world and symbolizes these ties like a family, communicating expertise within the world of Oschatz. The sculpture is made of cut out steel with a welded relief structure. The world map is an arc, slightly bended backward. The row of employees is an arc, slightly bended forward. The logo and the portrait of Dr. Schrag connect to both arcs. The sculpture has been coated in a silver grey-black metallic tone and has a total size of 1000 x 800 mm. |
